The History
Biologique Recherche was founded in the 1970s by a family of artisanal skincare experts. Their visionary approach and reputation for effectiveness has developed a cult following.

The skincare line is an exclusive, customized methodology of cosmetic treatments with a high concentration of active ingredients. Biologique Recherche operated as a research and development lab, focusing exclusively on formulating products for beauty professionals that later became exclusively available for consumers.

When developing your skincare routine, there are two distinct phases- the initialization phase and the treatment phase. The initialization phase is the core of your daily ritual. It includes your daily cleanser and exfoliator. It also includes a mask treatment. The treatment phase incorporates the products with the highest concentration of active ingredients, to recondition the epidermis and help enhance its potential for self-regeneration.

cleansers
The cleansing treatments remove all traces of makeup and pollution. These products contain active ingredients that begin the treatment process and leave skin soft and refreshed. The first step in every treatment, they’re to be used every day, morning and night.

lotion
The ‘lotions’ in the Biologique Recherche product line function as exfoliants. This is an important consideration when planning your routine. The inclusion of the famed P50 lotion series helps to gently exfoliate, balance excess sebum, moisturize and help maintain the skin’s acidic pH.

masks
The masks are the final step in your initialization phase and contain essential fatty acids, which enrich the skin’s proteo-lipidic film after exfoliation and prepare it to receive the formulations in the Treatment Stage. Masks are applied after cleansers so the skin is supple and open to absorption, but before the treatment stage so as not to wash away your treatment when rinsing off your mask.
authentic serums
The authentic serums are the purest formulas in the product range. They contain nothing but active ingredients in the form of amino acids or short peptides. These serums are designed to target specific imbalances like dehydration, lack of vitality, fine lines, seborrheic skin, and other issues.
targeted serums
The targeted serums, formulated with active ingredients derived from phytobiology and biotechnology, tackle both the causes and the consequences of temporary, very specific imbalances. Treatment results are both instant and long-lasting.
creams
The cream formulations are easy to apply and have a high concentration of active ingredients. They act as a complement to the authentic serums and are designed to target a specific need.
eye contour creams
