you’ve had an appointment with us, you probably have heard how much we love facial massage. It’s relaxing, effective, and can be done anywhere without specialty tools.
An at-home facial massage is an important self-care ritual that can boost both beauty and wellness. In just a few minutes a day, you can release tension, smooth fine lines, boost circulation, reduce puffiness and more.
What you Need to Know
What you’ll need
a facial oil to provide slip
If you’re using Biologique Recherche, Lait provides excellent slip. You can do your massage during your cleansing stage. Be sure to add a drop of water or extra Lait if you notice your skin pulling.
When and for how long
Take at least 2 full minutes to massage your face. The longer the better. If you’re new to the process, set a timer or play a longer song to help you keep time.
Tips and Tricks for Beginners
Start at the decolette to open and activate the lymph nodes. This will help the face to drain fully without building up around your collarbone.
Before beginning, firmly pat or slap just under the collarbone to activate your lymph nodes.
Use light pressure or tapping around the lymph nodes to activate gently.
Pull strokes from cheeks and jaw behind your ears for the full benefit. Stopping at the ear falls just short of the nodes in the neck.
Always start with a clean face and washed hands.
